So. A review. Yeah. I’m not sure I can give this book all the props it deserves because it was soooooo good. If you’re a TJK fan, this is a no brainer. You will read this, you will laugh, you will love it.
If you’re not a TJK fan... well, this series seriously rocks and may make you pee your pants.
This one features Josiah in his quest for stardom. We get to meet the socially anxious writer Q-Bert. We also meet a unicorn, a tigress and a randy 80 year-old bisexual queen in a wheelchair. We get to travel from LA back to Abby, Oregon and we get to hang with the We Three Queens, Gus, Casey, Lottie and the ferret with merit.
There is also a lot of weed in this book—like the previous one—and the conversations that ensue are hilarious! I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THIS COMES OUT IN AUDIOBOOK because I will love it even more!

I ADORED this fresh NA/YA story. I listened to the audiobook which was EXCELLENTLY NARRATED by Ramon de Ocampo!
This was set up as an enemies to lovers trope—although the enmity proved to be something else entirely.
The First Son and the Prince of Wales—what could be more lovely? I loved seeing them slowly grow together via texts, phone calls, emails, and transatlantic trysts.
Of course we needed roadblocks to this romance. In this case we had several: unacknowledged bisexuality, a presidential election, and duty to the royal family. Both MC’s felt the pressures of not only being in the spotlight, but of doing what was expected of them as public and political figures.
Undeniably, they were in different situations, but that’s what I loved about this story—that we witness the different obstacles in coming out in two unique cultures.
Granted, since the single POV was from Alex, FSOTUS, we had a lot more of the political influence of a second term presidential election. Being a complete fan of The West Wing, I adored the inclusion of political strategy and the election night coverage
Henry and Alex were ridiculously sexy together—and their sexy times were not completely “fade to black” there was plenty of steam to be had.
I loved the hell out of this story. I adored both MCs and so much appreciated the very strong female secondary characters who played large roles in this tale.

Oz has to be one of the funniest and snarkiest characters in a contemporary romance ever! He was so delightful and cheeky and irreverent! Pairing him up with the seemingly proper Lord was delicious and witty.
Silas is an Earl who has to find a way to bring in income to save his family home and estate. Oz is the one he's hired to take over as house manager. How he got his job--his interview--is priceless! The reason why he's interviewing in the first place (dating his boss) is also a scene to remember.
Gods, there are other reviews that are much better than this (see Todd’s AMAZING review). I'll just tell you that this book is RIDICULOUSLY HILARIOUS as well as SEXY....just see Silas get his dirty talk on...that Earl sure has a mouth on him!!
Just, read this. Honestly. You need this laughter in your life. You need Oz in your life!! One word of caution: reading this in public may cause others to stare at you as you chuckle and snort your way through the wonder that is Oz!...more

I’ve never, never, finished a book that ended quite like this one!!! To tell you how and where would totally spoil the surprise!!
It literally made me laugh out loud while yelling, “WTF?!” I loved it! 💕💕💕 Now I wonder if the third one picks up EXACTLY where this one stops...because not to do so would be brutally unfair!! 😉
This second book (audiobook) in the series picks up where the first one dropped off. Think of these as serial novels and you’ll realize that the ending of one book is simply TBC in the next. Just something to keep you wanting, and hungering for more!
The beginning of this one took a dark turn which surprised the heck out of me. Soon, though, things settled back into the delicious back and forth play between Sam and Declan. These two are scorching HOT 🔥🔥 together and Gary Furlong’s narration makes my toes curl. To be honest, my toes aren’t the only thing that are affected when he purrs out Declan’s delectable Scottish accent. His “Declan” voice is worth the price of this audiobook alone!!
Back to the plot...Sam and Declan start working together for James. Sam and Declan have loads of sex. Spy-like things happen. Family things happen: some good, some bad. The two keep up their “Princess Bride” jokes. The two keep having hot sex. And the two continue to be funny, sweet and hot as hell.
I’ll leave you with with my two favorite frases of the book:
“Black fishnet mesh underwear.” (I won’t tell you who’s wearing them!)
Declan—“Have ye....ever edged with a lover?” (And what a scene this led to!!! 😱😱)

Say it with me: “tentacles are sexy, tentacles are sexy, tentacles are sexy...” I’ve gotta say that our kraken is one of the sexiest tentacled hotties I’ve come across. He’s so possessive and growly and such a huge a**hole that he’s impossible not to love!
Then we’ve got our self-admitted slutty unicorn who immediately falls into our kraken’s sexy coils. Although he can’t get enough sweets, nothing sweet ever comes out of his mouth. Talk about a dirty mouth!!
So Wriggles and Sparkles go on to deal with cases involving supernatural creatures—all shifters—and the violent crimes they’ve committed.
They get into all sorts of predicaments, but always come out alive. Along the way, they fall in love.
This collection of stories is chronological and the time skipped in between each one only serves to cement the idea that these two do belong together, regardless how opposite they might be.
I adored this!! I want a kraken of my very own and play “sacrifice the virgin” like these two prickly bastards did!
Oh....I forgot to mention: MANTIES! Our kraken loves the lace. Wriggles can also alter his gender at will...handy that!!...more

Hilarious! Irreverent! My god this was so much fun to read! The real world meets the comic books. Superheroes and villains, or hoagies and Challengers fight each other and knock down buildings. Villains take turns seeking world domination or simply doing away with the travesty of chain book stores. Their sons and daughters must serve on minion duty for other challengers/villains. Heroes bicker with each other. All fights are televised. And no one seems to die. And it's all as funny as hell!
In the middle of all this, Patrick West (son of the Dread Serpent Serpentissima) finds himself working as night manager for the genius billionaire superhero/hoagie Nicholas Andersen, the Silver Paladin. Nick mistakes Pat for a hooker, one thing leads to another which leads to a big ole fight between superheroes and Serpentissima. Of course this all ends in an HFN for Pat and Nick.
Saturday morning cartoons and comics meet MM romance and RL. Yes!
