That meant he knew nobody, and the hobbies he had in Florida just didn’t apply. When nearly killing a small animal while getting in touch with nature, he meets a very single, very sweet, straight, older vet. Ezra was single and lonely because he found himself uncomfortable around people, and the one person he was close to had moved away. He had his kids, but it was time to find friends. He didn't expect the additional feelings that came along when he met Skylar; he could be a friend—maybe even more.
OPINION: This was a sweet, quick read. Both men seem wonderful, I would have loved getting to know both MCs more. Especially Ezra. He is quiet as a character but also quiet in the story. The romance between them moves quickly, and Ezra’s bi-awakening is a non-event, which I like in a lot of ways. Their love story is sweet, and it was very nice to see them find each other. They filled a hole in the other’s lives that made the story lovely. The kids and the pets were a wonderful addition to the overall story. It’s a fun read with fun characters....more

From then on, Aiden was a cowboy; he had learned everything from the older boy who picked him up one day when he was again walking alone on the road. From then on, he and Seth, the older boy, were inseparable, but there was so much more than a mentorship between them; there was a bond that created a love over which they had no control. When Seth is faced with the ranch falling apart, he pushes everyone away, including Aiden.
Years later, Aiden finds himself on Seth’s doorstep, and the feelings they had are still there. Both made mistakes, and both felt unworthy. Together, they fought their feelings, their futures, their pasts, and each other until there was nothing left for either of them to push against.
OPINION: I didn’t cry, you cried. Every time I read one of these books, it gets me in the feels. This is the sixth one in this series, and I have enjoyed then all. This one has a lot of emotion, at least for me. They struggled, but the feelings were there, and they were going to figure it out. I loved this book and enjoyed the story and the couple. Each man has so much to work through, but you follow along and hope they figure it out. It’s a great take on best friends to lovers with a lot of ups and downs. I recommend this book and the entire series. They are all great. ...more

When trying to find his prince charming the conventional way through his own app fails he hires someone to fake it. Milo works as an escort and agrees to be the fake boyfriend of the billionaire, but things aren’t as expected on a lot of levels.
OPINION: We knew how this was going to turn out, but there were a lot of delightful moments along the way. As far as billionaires are concerned, I like Keaton a lot. He seems to have a generous spirit, and his sub side is predictable but still fun to read about. You get a decent feel for Keaton as a person, and I liked him very much.
Milo is unapologetic about his job as an escort, and that is nice. There is no hidden shame about his past. It is surprising that with the millions of dollars he now has, he doesn’t do more with it, such as moving his grandma to a better facility or even getting a better apartment. Regardless, Milo is charming, and I felt I knew him.
The story is as expected: falling for the billionaire you spend a ton of private time with. There are some nice spice scenes, but they are not super graphic. The text messages and conversations are a lot of fun, and the fact Milo embraces him spending his money is a nice touch. Why not enjoy it is the mantra, while they both don’t dare mention their feelings. They are both sweet, charming men who embrace each other and fall hard. Their path is straightforward with no angst and lots of sweetness, it's a lovely read. You won't be disappointed if you want a nice story about two great guys read this....more
Emmett is climbing the ladder at his job because he wants to make his father proud and bring the company he created back to what he would have wanted Emmett is climbing the ladder at his job because he wants to make his father proud and bring the company he created back to what he would have wanted it. To do that, he had to work for a bigoted boss, basically selling his soul; it was oppressive and painful but something he could do if he tried hard enough. What he didn’t need was a loud, opinionated football star messing up his world.
Every interaction he had with Storm Rosling was filled with frustration and anger because the man didn’t think things through before he did them. The fact he was forced into this man’s world because the Fixer Brothers were renovating his home just made everything… hard. In reality, this battle between them aroused him and apparently aroused the straight football player. What in the world is going on? The complication of being with someone like Storm was the last thing he needed.
OPINION: This is one of my favorite series. I liked every story, and the couples in them are wonderful. The group of guys that make up the “Fixer Brothers” are warm and supportive and everything you want in a friend group. This story started a little slow, and I was concerned I might not love it, but Raleigh didn’t disappoint. It picked up, and I found myself completely invested in their path. There is a whole opposites attract, enemies to lovers things going on here that I loved. There aren’t a lot of spicy scenes, but the ones included are great. I genuinely loved all the books, and this went right along with the others. READ this book. It’s wonderful; then read the rest of the series, too....more

Brandon just can’t find the right person for him, and after one bad breakup, they find themselves exploring briefly being together. It’s put aside for three years until they decide trying could be a good thing for them both when Brandon, yet again, is dumped. Can friends that are this close really be more than that? When Andrew gets tired of the limitations, there is a lot of pain and frustration that makes them both rethink everything.
OPINION: This is a lovely story of best friends taking their friendship to the next level. The bond between the two is evident from the beginning of the story, and seeing how close they are is lovely. The fact that Brandon had constant problems with his exes because of Andrew is easy to see since it's obvious these two are in love from the beginning; they just needed to seal the deal. Walking through their fears and figuring things out make up a wonderful love story that you will enjoy reading. It’s a wonderful romance with some great guys and a fantastic friend group. He is used to being considered an object, something for the night, something to be stared at for pleasure. It doesn’t mean he likes it, but he has accepted that it is how it is. He would like to have a normal relationship where a man wants him not only for his body but also to love, cherish, and treat him kindly and lovingly. Everything changes when he sees Luke, who has denied who he is for thirty years. Sebastian saw something different in Luke, and he wanted that and hoped he could have it.
Luke had made a promise to himself that he would never let people know who he really was. It was painful and lonely. When he met Sebastian, everything started to shift; the secret he had kept was confusing, his desires wouldn't be held back, and the need to no longer have secrets started to shatter.
OPINION: I liked this story a lot. Sebastian and Luke are a charming couple who are both trying to figure out what normal looks like for them. They both cast themselves in a role they weren’t happy in but accepted. Watching them break down their walls and demand better for themselves was wonderful. Each man really considered the other; there are a lot of great little moments. I felt I knew the characters and liked their stories, enjoying the book overall. It’s a good second book in the series....more

He is determined to give his new charge the best possible life since he hadn’t, and it was his job. The new ranch chef throws him off even more because even though he wanted to not like him, he finds himself very attached and very happy to fall for someone he wasn’t expecting. As long as they find a way to be together, it will be perfect.
Nathan was licking his wounds after a financial and personal disaster made him find a job for someones, in a place he knew nothing about. Ames is the one bright spot and falling for him is terrifying. The one thing he knows for sure is Ames is the one thing he is keeping and everything else will be figured out.
OPINION: This is a sweet, low-angst story of two men who find each other. It’s not a hot, passionate lust, lust-filled relationship but a very mature grown-up settling into each other and knowing that together they are better men. Ames and Nathan are great men alone, but they are fantastic together, watching them figure out how to support each other while Nathan figures out how to have the life he wants with the person he wants without sacrificing his personal dreams. I enjoyed the story very much, and I recommend reading this for a feel-good book with some fun characters. The interaction with Sophie is fantastic, and you cannot help but want the best for her and them. It’s a good book; pick it up and enjoy another story by this author, whom I personally adore....more

Sebastian was recovering from a bad relationship that left him damaged. His friends and sister felt like it was time for him to find someone at least to have a good time and get a little relief. With that encouragement he went out where Charlie ran into him.
The spent an amazing night together and Sebastian wanted more, there was a spark he wanted to explore. The universe seemed to want them together but even with that there is a lot that needs to be figured out before they can find a happily ever after.
OPINION: This book was a great read, giving you a great feel for the MCs and who they are. The age gap isn’t addressed as much as the financial differences, but you are aware that it is there. They get together fairly early in the story, and we navigate through the ups and downs of their relationship, including telling some secrets and making peace with demons. There is an amazing friend group that I hope to learn more about. There is some depth to the story and we go through all of it with them. I enjoyed the book very much and recommend it. ...more

Looking for a way that they can be happy and love each other requires a lot of insight from them both, including figuring out how to be a couple again and not just roommates.
OPINION: I loved all the books in this series. I hate to see that it has come to an end, but it’s nice they have all found their HEA, even Art. All of the books have a common friend group, and you get to see what they are up to a little bit in this story. Mack and Davey’s story is a great one; they have to figure out their own stuff before they can be a good partner. The divorce, albeit terrible, really helped—even fixed—everything. The spicy scenes are so wonderful even though there aren’t a lot. I loved this couple just as much as I loved the others in the series, they love hard and hurt hard. Mack has a gentle, loving spirit, but he has lost himself through marriage and parenthood. Davey is driven and protective, but he has taken it too far. Going through their self-realizations is lovely, and I very much wanted to see how they figured things out. The final book in the series was not my favorite, but it's certainly very good. Do yourself a favor and read the whole series. You will love every single couple, including Mack and Davey....more

OPINION: I’ve read all the books in the series, and I definitely have favorites. This was a nice addition with a double bi-awakening, some great spice scenes, and a lot of feelings. OPINION: I enjoyed this story. The main characters are well-developed, and I liked getting to know them. However, the reality of the situation is a bit frustrating. There is a lot of talk about Mateo’s model looks, but then it’s not just his looks, which is a dichotomy my mind had a hard time wrapping around. That didn’t detract from the story or from the great couple trying to find their way through Mateo’s mess. You walk his path to find a Happily Ever After, and getting there was a good story. There were some great emotional moments, and the spicy scenes were spot on. It’s an enjoyable read and worth picking up....more

He lost his career as a lawyer, destroyed the man he had been married to, and had nobody left to call a friend. Even with all that, he couldn’t let go of what his body craved. Even when Logan, a man he knew he had chemistry with, reached out to save him, he still didn’t grab hold. Finding out everything he had genuinely accomplished was gone, it was time for him to figure it out or die.
OPINION: This is a deeply emotional book filled with the anguish of loss and addiction. Both of these men are in pain, and somehow, they find each other. Both are fighting to forget their past and walk toward a future. At forty-something, neither has truly lived, and neither has known happiness. I enjoyed this book very much. As far as my opinion, it is not an “easy read.” There is a lot of depth, very little spice, and a whole lot of emotion. This has been written as a love story that is wrapped around the struggle that these men go through. Reading their story and cheering them on is a joy, and you can’t help but want the best for them. You will have plenty of emotions, from joy to fear to heartbreak, and then all those feelings a second time. If you want something that takes you through a path of recovery where you get invested in the men, this is a great read. ...more

The shop was popular and part of a wonderful neighborhood of queer people where he hoped to pay off his loans and maybe someday find love because he was a romantic. The only unfortunate part of the plan was the building he rented was inherited by someone they didn’t know, and the fate of his shop now stood in this stranger's hands.
Clay inherited an old building in a queer neighborhood from his grandfather, whom he didn’t know. He wanted to sell and get back to Missouri, where he would have the opportunity to start a crew and do things the right way. What he didn’t expect was to learn about himself, the building, his grandfather, and the neighborhood. All of this changed who he was, especially as he got to know the owner of the flower shop a little bit better, and they came to an agreement.
OPINION: I loved these two men, and that made me love the book. The epitome of a grumpy sunshine trope, they were special. I genuinely liked both of the men and felt like I had a good feeling for both of them. Each time they were together, it tickled me, and I loved that they had their lists and experimented together. They managed to kid themselves into thinking it was only physical and there weren’t feelings. It was just so good and so fun to follow their story. All of the people in this neighborhood are wonderful, and there is so much flavor to the book; I would love to see more stories of this community, like Gunther and the new guy over the Bear Bar… such a great book. Read it if you like a wonderful story of two very different but very similar minds stumbling their way into falling in love. There are some pretty great spice scenes, too!...more

Burton and Luka had been friends since they were seven, they had tried to be lovers but then it didn’t work but something about Phoenix drew him to them. They knew that the three of them would fit together, and they were going to do exactly that.
OPINION: This was a quick read with some great MMM spice scenes. There was an underlying plot with Phoenix’s dad that kept the story moving along. The father was completely unhinged, creating a lot of drama because he didn’t approve of his son. The relationship moved very fast, but the love between the men was wonderful to see. Loving someone who isn’t white and is gay isn’t the easiest thing to do in a town that is conservative and in the deep South, where the stereotypes originate.
OPINION: This is a lovely story of two men changing each other lives in the best possible ways. Coming from very different worlds, both have baggage that makes them ready to go off for a better life. This is a book about insta-love and insta-lust, which tells the story of living in a very different time. It’s a good way to remember how much the world has changed. There are occasional hookups, but being transgender brings its own situations, so home alone tends to be the best solution. He is a little infatuated with the person who comes into the diner after clubbing, but that is a whole other issue.
Avery needs to find a room since his apartment is no longer fit to live in, and his landlord sucks. Finding a flyer on the wall of the diner where a lot of queer people hang out is luck. Of course, the flyer being from the hot guy at the diner does all kinds of things to an already overactive libido. Living together makes things different for both of them and what was never expected is found.

When a childhood acquaintance who checked all his boxes finds him in his childhood bedroom and opens up a little more than intended, he realizes that this man's name might actually be what he is: an Angel. Introducing Angel to his world is dangerous to Rhys’s heart because you don’t fall for the straight boy even if he is doing gay adult movies for money.
OPINION: This was a nice story. Angel is so unassuming and sweet that you just want to package him up and keep him protected from the world. Just looking at the grumpy construction worker did something to him.
