I had my own doubts when reading about various wars and armed resistances but the link between changing weather and survival wars is so obvious that it is easily ignored. But the author is absolutely correct at placing the blame squarely on changing weather as no one simply decides to packs up and live in another culture without feeling insecure in his parent culture. Weather along with bad governance, race, corruption and religion are some of the big factors which are responsible for mass migrations and the author must be given credit for listing it alongside the other major fault lines in failed cultures. ...more
