I was so obsessed with this book, I immediately started Seeing Red as soon as I finished Alive and Wells and now I'm chomping at the bit to get my hands on book three!
The way Austin is obsessed with Cecily but takes his time until she feels comfortable with him is literally the energy all men need. & He's the perfect perfect book boyfriend. Grumpy with everyone but her, loves her endlessly, would do anything for her....Also, this man is so raunchy, I had to stop and take some breathers.
Cecily's story had me in my feelings and I wanted to crawl into the book and just give her a hug. But I also loved how she was able to be strong and hold her own after everything she had been through.
This book was 10/10 perfect and I have 0 notes....more

She has truly given us a Nora Ephron x Rob Reiner movie-worthy book! It’s giving Gilmore Girls. It’s giving When Harry Met Sally. It’s giving Friends. She quite literally threw me into a nostalgia train that was going full steam ahead and I didn’t want it to stop. The 90’s fall vibes in IIMYH were so impeccable, reading it was like wrapping myself in a warm, fuzzy blanket that just came out of the dryer. I laughed, I cried….I cried so much. No like, I haven’t cried that hard over a book in a looooonnnng time!
I fell in love with every character. (This is where the Gilmore Girls vibe comes in.) Every lead, minor, and background character were so unbelievably lovable. If I could pull a Novel Love Story, I’d want to stumble upon Copper Run. I miss it so much already and I’m extremely jealous of all of you who get to read it for the first time next week! ...more

I see a lot of myself in both Halle and Henry and watching how well they communicated with each other gave me such hope that I will be able to find someone who understands my quirks and will be able to work with me when I’m in a rough patch. I have ADHD. It’s something that I was diagnosed with at a young age and only in the last couple of years have I really noticed other symptoms that aren’t just, “She can’t sit still.” I, like Henry, have a hard time forcing myself to do things. I wait until the last minute and then freak that I didn’t do it earlier. When it comes to reading something I HAVE to, I don’t want to. I get over stimulated even in my own home and I have a hard time explaining how I feel when I do get into a funk.
On the other side of the coin, I relate to Halle because I’m the oldest daughter and as I navigate my 30th year, I long for a forever friend group. I have friends, but not those besties who you do everything with and talk to all the time. I’ve never been in a relationship (or even on a date ...more
