THIS BOOK IS MY ROMAN EMPIRE!! I don’t think any book will ever compare to this one for me. I love everything about the book the romance, the banter, the fantasy and everything else. I truly think about this book at least once every week. If I ever end up in powerless, just know I’m not coming back.
paedyn: I love her so much. She’s literally such a girl boss because if I would’ve been in these trials, I probably would’ve died in the first five minutes. I also loved that she didn’t have any powers. She kind of reminds me of Jude. I feel like Jude Duarte and her would be such an iconic duo.
kai: If I could only have one book boyfriend for the rest of my life it would be him. He is THE standard. I’m so down bad for him it’s not even funny anymore. The entire book I was giggling and kicking my feet because of him and how poetic he is.
adena: My sweet sweet adena. I cried so much when she died, she didn’t deserve it. I already read her novella and the amount of times I cried during the book is not funny. I think in another life she and I would be besties.
kitt: At the beginning I didn’t even hate him but then the guy proceeded to try to win pae even though he knew his brother was in love with her. Like bro what’s going on with you?! Anyway I truly do not like him and would not have minded if he died instead of adena.
kai&pae: They both are meant to be together in every universe. The scenes after his nightmare or the dancing in the trials ahhhh *julia fainted*. Again the banter was perfect. I just cannot get enough of them together.

Why did I not read this book earlier!? It was soooo good. OMG this is one of my new favourite books without a doubt!! The banter was perfection, like everything else in this book. I absolutely adored Liz’s and Wes’s story. It was truly everything.
Now did I stay up till 2 am to finish reading this book? Yes. Will I regret it tomorrow? Also yes. But I do not care in the slightest.
