When I read the first couple of chapters, I did not understand what was happening at all. I was going to restart the book, but I kept reading anyway. I understood it as I kept reading and I later found myself finding it really hard to put the book down. Something important was always happening in the book and I knew that if I put the book down and picked it up later, I would forget what part of the plot I was in and I'd forget what exactly I was reading about so it was really hard to decide when to stop. I'm glad I didn't stop reading this book....more

There are so many great things to say about this book but I think what I loved most about it was the friendship everyone had with each throughout the entire book. First of all, Sam and Stuart's friendship was probably my favourite part of this book. Without each other, they wouldn't be happy, they wouldn't be themselves at all and when they're together, it's like nothing can get in their way of upsetting either of them. And it wasn't just their friendship that I loved, it was everyone's love and support that they showed to both Sam and Stuart when they were both feeling down. Their friends were just so kind and caring and they never neglected them. Basically, what all of these people shared was an unbreakable kind of bond/friendship and I found it really nice to have read something about true friends and how much you need them in your life....more

I was able to relate to Imogen in a way where I could understand and feel the awkward social tension that seemed to occur naturally and almost all the time. I loved how she chose to be happy after everything that's happened to her and how she changed throughout the book....more

I would imagine that a lot of people can tell whenever something is right and wrong and most of the times that's all people do. They know which is which, but they don't do anything about it. These books taught me that if you know what's wrong and you know what you can do about it to change it, then you can make a difference in the world. You can end up helping not only yourself, but others too....more

ReadiI haven't read this series in a while and I wanted to go back to my childhood and sort of find out what I really liked about all of these books. Reading it now, I felt like it was not as exciting as I remember it being, but that probably is because I'm older now and what I like has changed. If I were to rate this for someone younger than I am, it'd be 4 stars because when I read this during my childhood, I really liked the small challenges and the adventures they go on and the friends they make along the way....more

I love the musical just as much as this book. It felt as though the songs in the musical were all being sung to me in the book. There were a lot of parts when those weren't in the musical, but that just makes me love the characters even more. This book and this musical will always be something I can relate to and I love every detail and thought that was put into writing this book. If you have never listened to the songs of the musical, YOU MUST. Don't forget about this book though, it'll always remind us about how there's always someone there for you that cares even if it seems like you're invisible to everyone. Most importantly, reading this book will remind us that you'll always be found....more
