OH IM SO SICK I thought this was going to be a duology so I figured I read the first and just wait which I’m absolutely fine to do because good thingsOH IM SO SICK I thought this was going to be a duology so I figured I read the first and just wait which I’m absolutely fine to do because good things take time BUT IT WAS TOO GOOD AND IM NEEDING THE ENTIRE SERIES ENGRAVED INTO MY BRAIN.
First of all this takes Korean Mythology and intertwines it with a German folktale: The Pied Piper; it worked beautiful and it made me so curious and interested more about Korean myths and culture.
Now we’ve got an assassin, Shin Lina, the Reaper of Sunpo and she is BAD ASS. She’s 18 and actually feels 18 but is internally relatable to me who is a few years older. I loved her. She’s cool she’s everything
We also have Rui, the emperor of the spirit world and he is so captivating. If you read this you will enjoy about how everything plays out in between Lina and Rui because it’s not too fast not too slow and always leaves you wanting more.
