But something is also strange about these Liberty people, too. It's like they down grade their blackness. Perm their hair and don't care about whats happening in the community as much as they should care. Perhaps they have no empathy. And the money they now have and the place they now live makes them no longer care about what happens to the original communities they moved away from Perhaps something else is going on. Jasmin tries to tell King about the strangeness. But he sees nothing wrong and wants to hear nothing of it at all They've finally made it!
