But the real issue was that even though the story clipped along, the whole premise -- sigh... (view spoiler)[the mirror universe tries to take over the prime universe because ... they've run out of space? They've taken over the available universe? Really? So they wiped out the Borg, the Dominion, EVERYONE in the mirror universe? Okay... Plus, This was in the time of TNG and DS9. In DS9, the Earth Empire had fallen, hadn't it? I checked the book's publication date and the air date of the DS9 episodes. The book came later -- or at least that is what it seems. So, it goes against canon, which was a bit irritating.
