Now, Renn has basically slept his way through the two previous books, whilst still remaining sarcastic and loyal to his bandmates. Leo Kincaid comes with his own agenda, one he keeps close to his chest. So when these two meet, you simply know there will be fireworks!
Quite simply, I loved this book. There is heartbreak and hope, happiness and sadness, and a pure, sizzling connection between our two MCs. Renn has his own backstory that he has kept secret from the band, and Leo offers a way to help him. Of course, he can't turn that down!
There is romance, suspense, horror, betrayal, it's all here and will definitely keep you turning the pages. The ending was just perfect, and so Renn/Leo. I loved it. I am hoping that Jett will have his story soon as I really want to know more about our enigmatic siren.
The third book in the series, I guess you could read it as a standalone but the question is why would you want to? For me, definitely better read in sequence. Absolutely recommended by me.

He has domineering parents who want what is their version of what is best for him. He has been best friends with Io for many years, but Io is a man-whore homophobic. Then Severin shows up at AKM and all of Arion's pre-set ideals get blown out of the water.
Donya Lynne deals with some serious subjects in this book - peer pressure, familial pressure, coming out, betrayal, one-parent families, and racism to name just a few. It never feels like it is forced in any way though. It is all relevant to the story of Ari and Sev, which makes it all the more poignant.
I loved how Micah got to show off his sagely wisdom, in his own inimitable style; with Trace and Sam there with him every step of the way.
Extremely well-written, packed full of emotion, and certainly no editing or grammatical errors that I found, this is a book to savour, to devour, and enjoy again and again! Highly recommended.

This is what Io hasI love books where the main character turns it around and becomes someone you like and admire, rather than being a complete twonk! This is what Io has done for me in Rebel Obsession. With a bit of help from Sev and a new insight given by the mating bond, Io is able to overcome some of his prejudices and attitudes. He is not all bad - far from it. He was a Cobalt addict, but has beaten it. He is now a counsellor for the AKM program, helping others as he himself was helped. Miriam is an addict, but like with any addiction, she needs to find and deal with the root of the problem, rather than the short-term high that she gets from running away from it.
With new insights into characters, new characters turning lives upside down, and new perspectives to be seen, this is an amazing book in an already fantastic series. Each book manages to give you a completely satisfying ending, whilst still wanting to know more about their world.
Exceptionally well written, and with no editing or grammatical errors that I found, this is highly recommended by me.

Asher and Jake slowly become friends, and Asher convinces him to join the Pack. On his first night there, the Pack is attacked and Jake's old Pack try to take him back. This is only a diversion though, and they see a vampire going after Saffron and Rosemary's pups. Following a hunch, Asher (and his new pup, Parker) go back to his old Pack whilst trying to find Kimi. Asher's old Pack are brilliant, and I hope that I see more of them in the future. With one thing and another, Asher realises that he has been blessed with two mates, both of them male.
I loved this book! To see the depth of Asher's bonds, both his mate bonds and the one to his Pack, and what happens when they are in dispute with each other was wonderful to read. Heartbreaking, but wonderful, as it gave such insight to how the bonds affect each wolf.
This is the last book, for now, but I am absolutely hooked and I can't wait for more. Just like the others, this book was well written, with no editing or grammatical errors that I could see. Definitely recommended.

Bear Hearts tells the tale of Martin and Elizabeth, fated mates that are on opposite sides... or are they? I loved how Martin is quick to jump on Elizabeth's lack of trust in him but is also man enough - or should that be bear enough - to admit that he hasn't actually told her anything about himself or the bears in order to earn that trust.
The characters in this book are all strong and likeable and from just this book alone, I would like to see at least 3 more characters get their stories but then I'm greedy like that.
A well-written plot with no holes, good continuation and filled with passion and humour. That makes for a good combination in my book. Definitely recommended.

After an intense start to this book, the general theme carries on as one thing after another is revealed. Zeke has things to deal with from his past, which affect his present and future. Cat has eighteen months left on her contract which transferred to Leo upon the death of his aunt. The only trouble is Leo doesn't realise that he is a warlock so can't say the incantation which allows Cat to become human and leave the house.
In a short novella, there is a lot of information and humour. I loved the Draco Malfoy references for a start, but there are plenty to choose from. In some respects, it is a slow burner (pun intended) until they meet for their blind date and then things heat up.
For a short but extremely sexy, quick-witted and humorous story, I can definitely recommend this.

You have a society that is split into different categories, sometimes categories within categories, dependent upon who you are - Normal, Shifters, Elite, Autocrat for example. The Elite have their own guarded places where Normals aren't allowed to be. Of course, once you tell someone they can't, they will!
The theme of 'insta-love' runs through the book, although in this case it is Fated Mates and, as gets explained in the book, you won't understand it unless you are either a shifter or a mate.
The timing is a bit mixed up, enough that I have to mention it. I understand that love (or lust) can be overpowering but their timing is almost laughable. If you are in the middle of a purge, with people being killed all around, are you really going to overtaken with the urge to give (or receive) a bj? Really? I mean, REALLY??!!
On the whole, I enjoyed this book with the various characters and would enjoy reading more about them. I do think the timing issue might be one for the author to think about though.

Normally it's a 4-star as some stories are better than others but going for the average, it's a 4-star. I did the same with this collection - some I liked more than others - but the average rating is still 5 stars. There are new authors here (for me at least) and now I'm very happy as I can go searching for more of their books.
There is a little bit of everything for everyone here - the common thread being MM romance. Some are new relationships, and some are already established, but each story is individual and very well-written. Some (but not all) of my favourites were 'A Queer Trade', 'The Thirteenth Hex' and 'The Soldati Prince'. All different, all brilliant, all thoroughly enjoyable.
I could mention each and every one but you'd become bored so all I will say is that if you know at least one of these authors and like their work, then I can highly recommend this collection. If you don't know any of these authors but like M/M Romance, then I can highly recommend this collection. If you like a variety of M/M stories including shapeshifters, witches, a vaguely steampunk-type story, alternate realities etc, then I can highly recommend this collection. I'm sure you're getting the idea by now so there you go. I highly recommend this collection and loved it!

To be honest, I found it quite perplexing as to the hows and whys of Giselle ending up with her aunt and her mother abandoning her. That may be because I read this back to back with The Beginning where Cecily was prepared to leave everyone and everything for her unborn baby and James. So I was intrigued from the beginning to find out just what the backstory was.
I loved how Giselle and Julien grow and trust together, along with Simon and Desiree. Seeing Giselle naturally and comfortably come into her powers, and seeing her confidence grow, was wonderful. I was hoping for a HEA for Julien and Giselle but it certainly didn't happen how I thought it would go.
Intriguing, in-depth and full of character; I am hoping that this is a series that Cherrie Mack will continue as I would love to know more about this world. Definitely recommended.

The This is the second book of the Witch's Night Out series although you could quite easily read it as a standalone and you would be absolutely fine. In this story, Jack is not happy as he has lost his best friend to a woman, all the staff have gone home, and it's Christmas Eve. He goes to Mina's office to rant at her, only to discover that she has a date to get ready for. He isn't happy with that idea although he refuses to admit why. Mina has had a crush on Jack for years but has tried to move on, including having a relationship with someone else that didn't work out.
Mina is petite and fragile looking, but she has a backbone of steel. She won't put up with any crap from Jack - or anyone else either! I loved a particular scene in this novella when you learn just how strong Mina is.
This is a quick but hot read, set in a glacial environment, with a male main character who comes across as a real piece of work but is actually a nice guy if he lets himself be. Well-written and smoothly paced, this is another excellent book from Tara Quan. Definitely recommended.

However, as the story starts it is plain to see that this is a completely different story.
Corgan wants to tell his story so that he can 'face the sun'. He's lived a long time and has had enough. Marisa is only 23-years-old and is scraping by on her living as a fiction writer. These two come together, but love and war make an appearance too, and Corgan hasn't been telling Marisa the whole truth.
This book was well written, although I found it to be a bit disjointed at times. There are quite a few scenes where Marisa is monologuing, or describing her dreams, some of which seemed to have no bearing upon the story except to emphasise that she had strange dreams! It moves with a swift pace, and situations are sometimes upon you before you realise it.
It is a different take on the vampire/virgin story, so I would recommend it for anyone wanting something that differs from the norm.

He has never experienced the Wandering and is afraid that it means he isn't destined to have a mate. Troy is from a Hunter family but keeps on failing the final exam. On a camping trip, Troy bumps into Galvin in wolf form. He keeps his cool but can't figure out why he is suddenly obsessed with a wolf. That is until he realises what it means.
Things between Galvin and Troy heat up very quickly, and Troy does what he has to to ensure Galvin's safety (and the rest of the Itayu Lake population). He has lessons to learn, and beliefs to cast aside as his eyes are opened to the truth. Will he be able to accept his new way of life, or will the past keep him in its grip?
This is my favourite book so far, and that is saying something because I have loved all of them! The connection between Galvin and Troy was instantaneous. Troy makes hard decisions and he pays the price for them. Nothing is glossed over, you feel his pain after a phone call!
Very well written, The Hunter's Wolf is a wonderful addition and the story is still going on. I can't wait to read more. Highly recommended by me.

For such a little price, you get 11 books all about shifters, although not all wolves! Bears, cats, and even shapeshifters who can only assume human forms - its all here.
Now, I have to say that I didn't love all of them but out of 11 books, is that seriously a realistic expectation? Out of 11 books, 9 of them I thoroughly enjoyed and have new authors to look out for now. As for the other two, I still enjoyed them but somehow they just didn't connect with me as much as the others.
The thing I like about these books is that the heroines are all different. Some have curves (thankfully!), some lack self-confidence, some are feisty. The men, in whatever form they are in, are all Alphas and I thought they were wonderful.
There are some rather negative reviews about this box set, which I honestly can't see the reasons for. I enjoyed them, I'm glad I got the bundle and I will be looking for more from these authors. Read them and make up your own mind.
