Another great book to the series! The author once again brings strong characters , gives them a hot chemistry and takes them on a journey filled with drama and action as well as the steamy hot passion. It's a well written book with an intriguing story and and vividly painted scenes. The story moves fluidly and is an enjoyable read.

Tempting Ballad is the third book in the Discord's Desire series, and this time, the story is about the satyr drummer, Renn. Now, Renn has basically slept his way through the two previous books, whilst still remaining sarcastic and loyal to his bandmates. Leo Kincaid comes with his own agenda, one he keeps close to his chest. So when these two meet, you simply know there will be fireworks!
Quite simply, I loved this book. There is heartbreak and hope, happiness and sadness, and a pure, sizzling connection between our two MCs. Renn has his own backstory that he has kept secret from the band, and Leo offers a way to help him. Of course, he can't turn that down!
There is romance, suspense, horror, betrayal, it's all here and will definitely keep you turning the pages. The ending was just perfect, and so Renn/Leo. I loved it. I am hoping that Jett will have his story soon as I really want to know more about our enigmatic siren.
The third book in the series, I guess you could read it as a standalone but the question is why would you want to? For me, definitely better read in sequence. Absolutely recommended by me.

Quite simply, I loved this book. There is heartbreak and hope, happiness and sadness, and a pure, sizzling connection between our two MCs. Renn has his own backstory that he has kept secret from the band, and Leo offers a way to help him. Of course, he can't turn that down!
There is romance, suspense, horror, betrayal, it's all here and will definitely keep you turning the pages. The ending was just perfect, and so Renn/Leo. I loved it. I am hoping that Jett will have his story soon as I really want to know more about our enigmatic siren.
The third book in the series, I guess you could read it as a standalone but the question is why would you want to? For me, definitely better read in sequence. Absolutely recommended by me.

This is book four in the Discord’s Desire series, which revolves around a rock band of various fae creatures — Renn, for example, is a satyr — involved with a variety of mischief and mayhem. The band has worked with Leo before, something that led to them being a party to a bit of anarchy and political upheaval that is alluded to, but other than shaping their past with Leo, doesn’t seem to affect the story itself. I had no issue reading this book as a standalone.
The rapport between the characters feels natural and honest. I was actually amused in parts, and while I didn’t get as much of a feel for the rest of the band (who, I have no doubt, make more of an appearance in earlier books in the series where they take the spotlight), I did enjoy Renn and Leo. A lot of the planning and plotting takes place off-screen, so to speak, which … while it leaves me as surprised or confused as other characters, only slightly works for me in this book. Leo is a planner who has been working on his plots for years, but it does feel a little convenient to have so many things explained away by events off page. Even so, this was a fun book and, even though the pacing had its uneven moments, I still enjoyed it.

This was a wonderful book to add to this series! Leo Kincaid, Renn, and the Discord’s Desire band members stick together to go up against strong Unseelie enemies. The chemistry between Renn and Leo, despite having only shared one single night together, is sizzling and it’s going to be difficult if not impossible for Renn to put out that particular fire! Will they be successful in going up against the powerful Fae? Grab your copy of this exciting, action-packed book and see for yourself what happens!
I love the story line and how the band comes together to help, no matter what they have to face. Lots of action and excitement in this one, so enjoy!

This is the third book in the Discord’s Desire series and it was ahmazing!! I was completely hooked from the first page until the last. I loved the camaraderie with Renn and his band mates. The sexual tension between Renn and Leo is off the charts and I just loved these two characters. Renn, Leo, and his crew, go up against enemies that made me so angry at one of the twists! This story is wonderfully written, the characters are likable and fun, and it’s filled with drama, angst, action, and steamy scenes. A great compelling story and one I recommend.

This is the 5th book I've read written by Katherine McIntyre; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

If you love dark passion and Fae political intrigue and you haven't checked out this series, you need to. Renn and Leo scorch the page and the conspiracies get deeper. McIntyre has created such complicated characters that you can't help but be drawn in as she peels back their layers to show the amazing person within. I can't even imagine what will happen next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

The second book in the Discord's Desire and the second one in this series that I have read. Leo Kincaid and Renn’s story there is suspense, drama,danger, action, adventure, angst,steamy, and romance. I don't read many rockstar romances these days, but when the band is made up of fae and Katherine McIntyre wields the pen, I'm all in. This particular group of fae rockers was already near and dear to me, but if they hadn't been, this third in the series would've sealed the deal. Renn has been a favorite character from the beginning with his sarcasm and devil-may-care attitude. As it turns out, he does care about more than he let on, plus there's the oh, so hot mutual attraction between Renn and Leo. These two have chemistry to spare, and even when you don't know whether or not to trust Leo, you still can't help but root for this pair. The story is more than just sexy romance though, and we get a fair bit of danger and action to keep things moving at a fast clip. And since I'm not giving away any big spoilers, I'll just stop there with this 3rd Discord's Desire book is wonderfully written and nothing short of the excellence I expect from Katherine McIntyre.
