Their relationship strengthened by testing and stretching their limits during their beach weekend, Jonathan Braedon, Devon Aldridge, and Kit Webster encounter new challenges: the cast and director of Camelot have discovered their still-shaky relationship and an unexpected separation throws Devon and Kit together without Jonathan as a buffer, forcing them to face the reality of the attraction that has developed just between them.
Growing up in Chicago, Nicki Bennett spent every Saturday at the central library, losing herself in the world of books. A voracious reader, she eventually found it difficult to find enough of the kind of stories she liked to read and decided to start writing them herself.
This is the third installment and now Devon and Jonathan and Kit are like old friends you can't wait to visit. What's nice about this story is that while the focus looks to be Devon it is actually Kit. The youngest of the threesome has been dealing with some concerns that maybe he's the odd man out. That maybe he doesn't matter as much as the two older men and that for sure, Devon doesn't feel for him the same that he feels for Jonathan. When he and Devon find themselves stuck together in a cottage in a storm, he connects with his lover, finally, in a way that affirms his value. He knows that he's as integral to the threesome as the others. It is Kit's story and "refines" his place. Every story gets better and this one, with the inclusion of people learning about the three men and Jonathan's son coming for a visit and being accepting of his new relationship, is the best so far. What was really fun was that all three men are secretly on the same page, but none of them have admitted it yet.

this one didn't work as well for me as the prior 2 books, because i'd gotten used to a lot of sex between the protags (yay). alas i don't dig food sex -- smearing sticky stuff all over each other is more gross than sexy for me, so i had to skip a large chunk. also, these guys are kinda un-guy-like in that they all think a lot about twu wuv which each of them badly wants to spill about but thinks it's too soon. damn straight it's too soon -- all they ever do is fuck. i don't enjoy it when m/m gets too sappy about the wuv thing, especially in something that has this little plot to begin with.
