Sins, Sisterhood, and Temptation...in a life governed by seven heavenly virtues, Diligence is the virtue I repeatedly fail to uphold...sinning comes much more easily to me. They say that the devil finds work for idle hands, and I’m about to discover I can truly be diligent to my faith… if the temptation is sweet and innocent enough, and she is almost perfectly angelic and corruptible.

”I’m a sinner. I’ve tried to be good, but you make me want to be bad.”
I’ve read every non-paranormal book by Vance, and I am consistently impressed by how impeccable her writing is. It’s very, very, very rare I even find one typo in her books, and she is extremely talented. However, INDOLENCE is so brief that there just wasn’t enough time to fully develop anything. This isn a fun, quick, sexy f/f, yet it lacks depth and a real plot. If you haven’t read her books before, know that this is not a good example of what you will typically get from Vance!
This is another epic read by this author. A naughty quickie that would be an ideal bedtime read 😉😉
Although it’s a short read you get a good story with some really likeable characters. I’d love if it was longer but I’m greedy like that lol Can’t wait to read more from this author.
Sister Emily has got it bad for Sister Faith and I LOVED IT
Good girl, Faith, is forced to share a room with, local troublemaker, Emily to settle her behaviour. However, it is Faith that begins to curve to the rules of the monastery. Seems that Faith's good influence is no match for Emily's sensuality.
WARNING! This book is taboo, so be mindful of your triggers.
This book was hot and the taboo factor only made it hotter! I haven't read anything like this before and I think it's my new favorite forbidden thing. I wish it was a little longer cause I didn't want to leave Sister Emily and Sister Faith. But this was a great quick read to get me out of my book slump.
There's something about tales of taboo that always manages to ensnare my attention, and Ally Vance's "Indolence" was no exception. As someone who harbours a peculiar fascination with nun gone bad narratives (thank you, religious trauma), this book hit all the right notes for me. But don't just take my word for it.
Gathered with some friends, we delved into the quick yet captivating read that is "Indolence." There's a certain thrill in experiencing the darkness together, wouldn't you agree?
Now, let's talk characters. Vance has crafted a cast that's both well-rounded and, dare I say, likable to a certain extent (looking at you, Mother B). Despite the brevity of the story, there's an undeniable entertainment value, leaving me yearning for more. Perhaps a sequel is in the cards? One can only hope.
If you, like me, carry the weight of religious trauma, consider this book a therapeutic journey. But regardless of your background, whether you choose to partake in this tale or not, remember: I'm not here to dictate your choices.
I didn’t know what to expect going in, we’ll except a naught nun. Relinquished to the sister of Our Lady of Heavenly Hope at the young as of twelve, Sister Emily has spent the last 10 years trying to conform. That is until one day Mother Bitch…oops I mean Mother Superior 🤣😂 pairs Emily with her spiritual opposite - Sister Faith.
Sometimes a girl has needs and sometimes the heavenly virtues are easier to ignore than the sins of the flesh. Isn’t there a saying that goes something like love thy roommate? Witness a sexual awakening and sinfully good time unfold between two who should have known better yet can’t stay apart.
Loved, loved, loved this. So few manage to get the writing just right for the FF genre but this author has managed it. Amazing, steamy, HOT, HOT, HOT, and full of entertaining characters that you will fall in love with.
Was that really the ending? It wasn't that bad, I figured the way it ended that there would be a second book but that wasn't the case when I got to the end and there was nothing..
I can’t even begin to put into words just how spectacular, how hot, how right but also how wrong this short story is. Nuns, FF, hotness... go on read it yourself and find out ;)
Well, I most definitely was not expecting what I read with this one. I do love how this particular nun does as she pleases even though she is going against her vows. I do love the little peek a boo from another nun that happens to be a favorite of mine. This story was short, wild and very entertaining. I love how it was intertwined with another story I have read, and it comes together beautifully.
