When you’re in the market for some delicious smut, Ashley Michele always has your back. Kat Got Your Tongue? is a bite-sized sapphic tale with some serious Catwoman vibes. Within its pages the cat corners its prey and has its way with her with a little bit of bondage and a whole lot of sexy sass. Set in a city that’s reminiscent of Gotham, it feels alive and like a character itself. While there aren’t any plans on expansion of this world, I wouldn’t mind revisiting it in the future. No plot, all filth, it’s the perfect little palate cleanser.

Ashley is not planning to continue the story at this moment, but it may come together in the future. However, for now, sit back and enjoy this short read. Take everything else with a grain of salt and relish in the ✨ S M U T ✨. We can only hope to see more of Kat and Larke in the near future.

The idea of this one is fun but I just don't think it had enough substance - spicy or not. I'm all for a little sapphic bondage, but this one just wasn't it for me.

Kat Got Your Tongue is what seems like a snippet of a longer story that left me intrigued. It's a little hard to describe what the short story is about because of its vagueness, but it's done purposefully.
Kat Got Your Tongue is hot, cleverly written, and left me wanting more... which is clearly the point.

Going in you understand that this was / is a collaborative work that may or may not be completed.
While I’m definitely here for vibes and smut, being plunked into a world mid plot in a story that appears to have in depth world building is jarring in the beginning. I was a bit confused which took me out of the story frequently in the beginning.
Possibly angling these characters at a different jumping off point that needed less of the back story could have made more room for more playtime between the characters.
I loved the attention to what the body encounters while being tied up, I feel like this was an important part of the character’s interaction and experience.
I would have loved to see more frequency of interactions between the characters as the FMC has her internal dialogue.
As always the writing itself is gorgeous! Ashley is a very talented writer that can write yearning like no other!

I was excited to see where this talented queen would take me with this and I was not disappointed. Do take heed to the warning at the beginning - this is just smut, a quick and blazing hot read. She may come back and expand on these characters, eventually.
I have not read many F/F stories, but this one definitely caught my interest. Larke seems to be more than your average lady, with her love of the moon (and its regenerative powers) and interest in seeking out Kat Marquess - even if she is warned to stay away by a Batman-like night crusader.
I loved the Gotham-like gritty urban city Ashley painted to go along with the catwomanesque character of Kat. Yes this is more of scene, rather than a story but it didn’t take away from this delicious short. Ashley portrayed the risqué one night stand between two women, one of who is definitely a Domme with some thigh clinching likes and the other being the willing sub, perfectly. I really enjoyed it and would definitely read a full length story about these two.

Smut, pure tension and smut - and I loved it.
This is a nice quick dose of spice that had delivers exactly what it promises. A short tension filled novella introducing characters that leave you wanting to read more of their story (or at least their spice). With such a short amount of pages, there is a decent bit of worldbuilding as well as character defining, making this novella feel more fleshed out than expected. There are some heavy Catwoman vibes throughout, made even better with some creative word-play.
Do mind the trigger warnings at the start - and enjoy the spice.
This is the first work I've read of Ashley Michele's, and I'm definitely interested in reading more from her after this.

This served its purpose - EXACTLY - as the author said it would.
It's short, steamy, and beautifully-written as well.
It was the first "spicy" story I've ever read that features 2 women, and I enjoyed it! When the story began, it felt as though the reader was just plopped into a story mid-way through; this made me think I wouldn't enjoy the plot without any backstory… but I was wrong!!
I'm definitely looking forward to reading more from this author!

This is HOT, like HOT HOT! As the description of the story says, I feel like it's a spicy scene taken from a book, the premise but without having everything in its entirety and I enjoyed it so deliciously!
And although Ashley doesn't plan to continue it (which I hope, one day if she wants to), the mystery of not having all the information about these characters and world makes it interesting.
I recommend it if you want to read something spicy and fast without having to go through a plot🙌🏻 Seriously, Ashley writes some of the best smut I've ever read.

First ever sapphic spicy read and I loved it!!!
This was such a great read and my only take away is the fact that it’s disappointingly short. However, the author has such a way with words when describing people and scenes that makes you feel like you’re in the room with them.
I hope someday this becomes a full length story or a full length book comes from this verse because it has so much potential to be great!!! Another great read from this author and another reason proving why I love her!!!

Quick, Mysterious, Spicy, Sapphic short story with Superhero and Villian Vibes.
I liked this but I didn't love it. I wish it had been longer. Ashley warns that yes there is more to the story but for now we're only her to read for the smut. If you are just looking to rub one out this would be a quick fun read that will get your imagination going.
But don't go asking Ashley for me, she made it very clear... she's a tease lol

I know I know you said not to think too hard about everyone in the story…..but I can’t say I’m not intrigued. Kat and Larke, are playing one feisty little game that also feels a little taboo when you try to plot out the relationships. I’m in to it, you don’t get many masked women and I’m here for it 💁🏼♀️🩷🐈⬛

This was a quick and utterly delicious story that had my body all twisted up inside. I loved the imagery and world building as it was like reading a sexy and twisted version of Catwoman. There is a lot of little depraved moments that kept me salivating for more and by the end I was left craving for the full length novel.

I loved this. The author tells you in the beginning it’s basically no plot just vibes and that it was. I actually liked that it felt like we were dropped in the middle of the story, got our sexy times and then bounced. If the author ever does continue this story I’d love to read it.

Thank you, BookSirens, for this ARC. I read a lot of queer lit but I normally stay quite firmly in the YA lane, so this was a try of something different for me. It certainly beats some of the fanfic I read as a teen! I do feel like I'd be interested in reading the full story.

This is a quick novella that ends in a way where there can be a larger story. The author shares that there is an underlying story that she has no intentions of continuing at the present time however, if she does I would absolutely love to read the full story. For now it’s a quick, spicy read!
