Exciting news–I’m facilitating a teen LGBTQIA reading group!

What: Teen LGBTQIA Reading Group

When: Every first and third Monday at 6–8 p.m.

Rainbows Reads, hosted by Wordcrafters in Eugene, is an online teen LGBTQIA reading group that will start January 4th at 6 p.m. and continue every first and third Monday of the month until the end of 2021. It’s FREE!

On the first Monday of the month we’ll have group activities, including picture book storytime; guest authors; conversations about LGBTQIA artists, media, and issues; and we’ll exchange reading recommendations.

On the third Monday of the month, we’ll dive into the discussion book.

The discussion book for January is Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas. Cemetery Boys is about a trans boy determined to prove his gender to his traditional Latinx family, who accidentally summons a ghost who refuses to leave. Thomas is a local trans author.
