The theme connecting the stories in the collection is London and all of the stories are set there.

While all the stories are fictional, they draw heavily on my own experience of growing up and living as a young adult in various parts of London. The stories are about very different people at very different stages of their lives. There's the young woman keen to meet Mr Right, and a young man from Edinburgh who goes to unusual lengths to make friends in his neighbourhood. There's also the divorcee who decides to "date" London as part of her healing process and the very old man who discovers what all of the London Underground's abandoned stations are now used for...
