I live in northeast Ohio where I write sci-fi, fantasy, and suspense novels, along with a few short stories. Mostly I write stories I think I'd like to read with characters that are interesting enough that readers want to find out what happens to them. I also spend time building a Japanese strolling garden in the back yard, and taking walks in the woods. I have seven novels in print, the most recent being "Key to Tirumfall," a collection of short stories, and a co-authored children’s book. A sequel to "Shepherds" should be released later in 2021. I continue to work on my next book and seem to always have several stories in various stages of completion. ...more

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the question. No epiphany. I have been interested in possible psychic abilities that might be hidden in the human mind and wondered what might happen if someone developed a way to enhance them beyond any normal expectations. Slowly that central idea grew into a novel with the central character driven to do something rash that led to lots of problems for him and those around him. Change is hard to accept for most people and this was change on a cosmic scale so the problems grew in proportion. As for the title, the book went through several working titles before I settled on Foxworth Terminus and that came about because Reggie Foxworth is the character who is changed and Terminus because what he's done will end civilization as we know it. I'm working on a sequel titled Foxworth Continuum the goes into the new order. (less)

As you might expect there is some violence within the story but nothing that isn't in movies or TV shows they are watching and perhaps less than many other popular Young Adult books. (less)
