Not feeling the Booklove
Okay, so I have created a Booklikes account (Amadan na Briona) and imported all my Goodreads reviews.
After poking around a bit, I have concluded that it's pretty, but I am unimpressed.
Look folks, Goodreads screwed up, and will probably do so again, but I think this drama is much ado about very little. And unless they start killing puppies or something (or another site that is really better comes along), I do believe I will stay here.
Now that said... is it just me or are review notifications slowing to a crawl? I have been getting only a fraction of the review digests I usually receive, and I've also been noticing a lot fewer "Likes" on my reviews for the past few days.

Leaving Goodreads?
Hmm, it seems since I have an "author page" I can't do "status updates," only blog posts. Maybe someone more familiar with Goodreads can tell me what I am doing wrong.
Anyway, I am just wondering how many of my friends are actually planning to leave Goodreads? I am rather annoyed with the current brouhaha over "author-bashing" reviews, but I still prefer GR to any other bookish social media site I've looked at, so I am rather reluctant to just abandon it.
