The only constant in life is change, and so I'm embarking on a new adventure, ready to explore new horizons.
I'll continue writing - I have a grimdark military fantasy draft that's almost 60,000 words long now - but a new location and other personal challenges await.
I want to thank the special people who supported me in the past three years. Hopefully, things will go well. Take care, everybody!

I wasn’t familiar with Paul Auster before he passed away, but thankfully, there are recorded interviews, and hearing him speak about the creative process struck a deep chord inside.
The man had the soul of a genuine writer. His spirit is laid bare in the very first chapter of his book, The New York Trilogy, which instantly clicked with me.
It’s unfortunate that he’s no longer with us; however, we’re also lucky that his creations and ideas had been published.

Disclaimer: Since it's the internet of 2024, I feel a need to add that I don't necessarily agree with Mr. Auster's political views.

Aside from writing online stories, I have a few ideas for novels in a brand new fantasy setting.
I'm not sure which will make for a better story, but the journey continues!

Hello everybody.
After 4.5 months, I've finished writing The Synthetic Connection, the fourth book in the Stellar Fracture Saga series.
Currently, you can read it for free on RoyalRoad.com, but eventually, I will publish a revised version on Amazon.

The Synthetic Connection now sits at 71,000 words, with only two chapters left. I've put significant effort into improving the sci-fi elements of the Stellar Fracture Saga, especially when it comes to starships, their systems, and space combat mechanics. In the previous books, those things never interested Julie 😁
The story contains diverse star systems and focuses on the Neutral Zone, where smugglers, mercenaries, and shady factions can function freely. Naturally, it also ties into the main plot and features familiar concepts like Psionics and the galactic powers.
I hope to complete this novel in the first half of this month.

I've been working on the new Stellar Fracture Saga story since July, and it's now over 60,000 words long. It follows a new cast of characters during events that happen roughly at the time of The Dauntless Disciple.

Amazon X-Ray is a unique Kindle eBook feature that allows readers to learn more about characters and terms, simply by pressing on a word. Users can also enter a data repository and review all the book terms the author (me) has entered. This helps tremendously when reading a book series with an expanding list of definitions.

I've now added this feature to The Dauntless Disciple and The Conqueror's Nemesis.
Unfortunately, there are bugs in the web app for authors that forced me to repeatedly enter definitions.
However, I hope the result will provide an improved experience for ebook readers.

Having finished writing The Conqueror's Nemesis, I'm pondering whether to switch to different characters in the Stellar Fracture Saga universe or to start another series.

Both projects are on the to-do list. The question is where to go first. Either way, life's demands mean I'll have to slow down the pace in the upcoming months. 😞
