Amy Meyerson is the bestselling author of The Bookshop of Yesterdays and The Imperfects. Her books have been translated into eleven languages, and her short fiction has been published in numerous literary magazines. Amy teaches in the writing department at the University of Southern California, where she completed her master's degree in creative writing. Her third novel, The Love Scribe, will be published by Park Row Books in February 2023. There are a lot of them:) I should make a shelf on goodreads of all the novels mentioned in The Bookshop of Yesterdays.

Prospero Books is a composite of several bookstores that I love–two of particular importance are on the east side of LA. Prospero Books visually resembles Stories Books and Cafe in Echo Park. I also spend a lot of time at Skylight Books and got to ask the manager there lots of random questions about running a bookshop, which was super helpful. What's your favorite bookshop?(less)
