Served Australian army, including war service in the Vietnam War in 1968 - 1969. Came home to public shunning of Vietnam Veterans and discrimination against Vietnam Veterans by potential employers. This resulted in the setting up of the first business, (contract fencing) because I could not get a job. In due course, I studied for Advanced Diploma of Egineering Technology, Associate Degree of Civil Engineering and I am now doing my Arts degree. It was during the study of the arts degree that I became interested in the history of Northern Europe and Germania during the times of Julius and Augustus Ceasar. This led to researching and writing of the second book entitled 'For the Love of Armin'. Currently studying Bachelor of Construction Manage ...more

No matter what anyone says about it, the facts are that the allies interfered with a sovereign nation before invading it and committing many war crimes upon the population of Vietnam. Examples of these war crimes are the bombing of the civilian areas of Haiphong and Hanoi, the indiscriminate use of "Agent Orange' which was sprayed in saturation quantities upon jungle, villages and what was once productive farmland. Added to that were incidences of deliberate artillery shelling of Vietnamese civilians who were herding their cattle between Hoa Long andLong Phuc and other places close to Nui Dat. Once or twice may have been accidental, but the shelling occurred sixteen times! Therefore it was not accidental! Although I am proud of my service during the war, I still face the ghosts of those whom I killed in the name of "Freedom" in the eyes of the Aussie and USA Governments. Anyone who says a war is justified is a fool! For more information about this, read "A Gracious Enemy", available from Amazon.(less)

As well as being an author, I also operate an architectural and engineering drafting service. In February of 2022, I will also be studying for the Advanced Diploma of Building Design. so, in answer to your question, currently, I am not reading anything not connected with either my drafting business or my research for the novels that I write.(less)

Who is Will4m?

Whoever this person is, she/he has copied exactly the post by Pegboard about my book, "His Forefathers and Mick!" That is just not god enough! even if it is the same person as Pegboard, the result of copying the post word for word but then having a different name over it results in reader confusion and mistrust. So, is Will4m Pegboard or is she//he someone else trying to cash in on the fame of Peg Read more of this blog post »

“He said, “Sir, we are in a very bad position! We have lost many soldiers KIA (Killed in Action) and many more are wounded. Sir, today is the twenty third of March, and I suggest that we get the hell out of the entire Hoa Binh area before we all end up as dead men!”

“The Ganeva conference on Indochina agreements stated that the south of Vietnam would be handed over to a provisional administration after two years at the most and that general elections would be held in 1956 at the latest, giving Vietnam a single and united government. (due to American actions, the agreements were never put into place)”

Michael Kramer Due to many difficulties experienced with the website, I have closed www.mgkramerbooks.com - it is unlikely that I will again use a website because of its difficulties! To access my books, go directly to www.amazon.com; www.amazon.com.au; www.amazon.co.uk and click on 'Books' and then enter the title of the book you want.
Kind regards - Michael G Kramer OMIEAust.

Michael Kramer G'Day, Everyone, I am currently writing book number six. This is a historical fiction novel entitled, "A Castle of Doomsday!" Now, there are 47,099 words written, and I think that the final total number of words will be about 136,000. The first edition to be ut onto the market will be the eBook (EPUB format). That will be followed by the paperback and then the hardcover editions. The book tells the complete story of the Norman invasion of England and what followed. The book is also telling the story of the castles in York, in particular, the one called "Clifford's Tower".

Michael Kramer My new book entitled "A Gracious Enemy" lifts the lid about the Indochina Wars. It exposes what the British, French, American an Australian politicians did (sometimes that amounted to nothing). The book is available as a Kindle download for US$8.90 unless discounted and AU$11.99. The paperback edition is accessible from both www.amazon.com and www.mgkramerbooks.com for US$18.00 or AU$40.48 The hard-cover editions are currently in the process of setting up, and I expect the Australian price to be about AU$55.00.
Kind regards - Michael G. Kramer OMIEAust.
