Here I'm another day enjoying the beach. This time I have prepared a delicious family recipe. I know it looks a bit creepy food, but it's delicious. C'mon. Are you ready to taste it?.

Two young colts follow their parents at the edge of our yard. We had noticed one adult crane hanging around recently, but they've never nested so close that we've seen families before. We started to call the single adult Icabod (Crane) as it was seen several days in a row. Then much to our surprise, it turns out that it was a parent and here are two young colts along with both parents in our yard. How special is that? I know that in Homer, where I've seen them as well, that they do walk around within the town. But still, our very own cranes! So cool! Maybe a good thing I didn't mow the yard today or all that clover would be gone...
