- Synopsis
- 7 Episodes. The appearance of a prostitute's body in a park in the Leeds suburb of Chapelton puts the county police on alert, with Detective Sergeant Dennis Hoban (Toby Jones) in charge of the investigations along with his right-hand man, Sergeant Jim Hobson (Lee Ingleby). Gradually, the number of dead women rises to five in two years, and social alarms go off especially when the killer, known as the Yorkshire Ripper, no longer exclusively kills prostitutes in Leeds parks, but kills in other towns and even inside homes.
