Synopsis
La Reina de la noche is the "imaginary biography" of Mexican popular singer Lucha Reyes. Filmed entirely in sequence-shots, the story concentrates in the singer's stormy relationship with her mother (the madam of a brothel). While Lucha's career is successful, her personal life drives her to alcohol, solitude and eventually to suicide.
