Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt Entering Closed Alpha
On July 2, players can experience the battle royale game Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt. This closed alpha will give players a sneak peek of the game ahead of its official release later this year on PCs. Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt will be free to play on Steam when it comes out late 2021.
Based on the World of Darkness tabletop game series, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt is a dark, intense battle royale title. Players are a vampire engaged in a deadly Kindred war against others just like them. Can you survive the night? Find out and see if you can become the ultimate vampire.
Of course, the streets of this alternate Prague at night are anything but safe. Though they’ve upheld The Masquerade for centuries, a secret society known as The Entity has caught on to the existence of vampires. Dead-set on destroying the undead, the group takes to the streets to stake each and every last one. The various sects will clash while being harried by the Second Inquisition’s strike teams. Whether by fang, finesse, or vampiric flair, players will need to eradicate all standing in their way while maintaining the very delicate Masquerade.
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt will also feature character customization. Select a Clan allegiance that suits your playstyle, then fine-tune their aesthetics. Developed and published by Sharkmob, it emphasizes the player-focused mentality when it comes to its development. Founded in 2017, it has offices in Malmö, Sweden, and London. Tencent Games acquired the studio in 2019. Sharkmob is working on several other unannounced projects, as well.
