Yu-Gi-Oh! Banlist 2024: Forbidden, Limited and Semi-Limited
Yu better check your decks.
Updated to reflect the new Banlist that came into effect on 15 April 2024.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG has had an ever-updating Banlist since the start - and there are some good reasons why! Some quick-thinking players discovered loopholes involving some pretty crazy combos, allowing moves that would quickly break or ruin the game - we are looking at you Last Turn. Basically, there are some cards that are far more powerful than even the creators intended, due to the complexity and growth of the game.
Konami's latest Yu-Gi-Oh! Banlist came into effect on 15 April 2024 - revising the list of Forbidden, Limited and Semi-Limited cards in the TCG meta.
Below we've broken down the Banlist into ban type and card type, and will be updating this list every time Konami updates the meta. The list is focused on the Advanced Format, but the only difference between that and the Traditional Format is that all Forbidden cards in Traditional are simply just Limited:
