Tasks and Objectives
In the course of the comprehensive digitization of most processes within the BBAW, the IT department is at the center of activities. Accordingly, it faces enormous challenges. Nowadays, IT is not only a part of almost all tasks of a scientific institution like the BBAW. It is, in fact, the very basis of many processes in administration and modern research, making scientific work possible in the first place. This fundamental role is reflected in the variety of services offered by the IT department.
