atNorth’s second data center campus in Denmark is a 174-hectare greenfield site located in Varde, 40km west of Billund Airport. The campus will cater to both colocation and build-to-suit projects and will be specifically designed for data-intensive businesses.
With an initial capacity of 250MW the site will have a path to power of several hundred MW, implementing heat reuse to heat large scale greenhouses, local housing and opportunities for sustainable power production.
DEN02 will feature best in class heat reuse technology and will also accommodate Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) technology to support HPC and AI workloads in an energy efficient way.
The Denmark data center market is a key part of the Nordics, one of the fastest-growing non-FLAP regions in Europe, offering easy access to clean and low-cost power, connectivity, and carbon free energy.
