This template displays a random motto of the day from the period starting one year ago and ending on the current day.

• |day=no hides the day and purge button:

→ Mirum videtur quod sit factum iam diu
("Does it seem wonderful because it was done so long ago?")

• |break=yes inserts a line break between the day and the motto:

→ Mirum videtur quod sit factum iam diu
("Does it seem wonderful because it was done so long ago?")
