Dhiraj V Sonawane[1] is an Indian professor, orthopedic specialist and spine surgeon.[2][3][4] He is currently the head of the Orthopedic & Spine Unit at GT Hospital Mumbai.[5] Sonawane is known for starting the first spine clinic at Sir JJ Government and Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital.[6][7] In 2018 he began weekly scoliosis OPD in Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital. Dhiraj is Co-Chairperson for National scoliosis task force by Association of spine Surgeon India.[8][9][10]
