Passive aggressiveness? neat. horrible | contribs 13:32, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

thought you might be stalking the admins 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂 Justice (talk) 18:31, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
I read recent changes. I'd wager most people who are still interested in the wiki do. horrible | contribs 19:15, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Can confirm. At Justice: indirectly attacking someone still breaks GWW:NPA. Regardless of your take on someone and how you perceive their actions, civility comes first. - Infinite - talk 21:06, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Civility + Horrible = Does not compute... Justice (talk) 23:01, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

Death Blossom[edit]

... strikes adjacent foes. Is it implemented differently than other AoE skills? It's also categorized as "Skills with adjacent AoE". So what gives? Steve1 (talk) 13:26, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

I will give you a hint, Strikes. Justice (talk) 19:48, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

Hello steve? Justice (talk) 05:43, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
Hello justice! Steve1 (talk) 12:18, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
Strikes. Okay. Now what? Since each strike is a seperate attack, DB is not considered AoE (that's a hypothesis and question)? How is this technically different from e.g. barrage? That (barrage) doesn't use the word strike in its description. Are those 2 skills (and others) implemented differently? So is the categogy for DB incorrect then? Steve1 (talk) 12:24, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
If you don't know then why did you revert me? Justice (talk) 12:33, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
I first did this: https://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=User_talk:Justice&curid=142920&diff=2698549&oldid=2668214
Then I remembered this: https://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=User:Justice&diff=prev&oldid=2636237
Then i thought while not a 100% fit, this https://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=Warmonger%27s_Weapon&curid=6454&diff=2698550&oldid=2698548 would be a practical prank.
Oh, and it should help getting an explanation from you as well ... which obviously worked like a charm ...
There is some irony sprinkled in here, but not too much.
Feel free to check the timestamps since you probably don't believe me. Steve1 (talk) 13:08, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
And? Justice (talk) 18:41, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
THat's it. Steve1 (talk) 20:56, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
1) I reverted your EDIT (not a revert). You can revert my revert at any time. No need to ask CA for it.
addendum: You think your edit counts as a revert, since it undid an edit from 2017 (I checked :D ) and that you might be accused of breaking 1RR? Is that it?
1b) CA is gww-retired. You might try the active admins if you insist.
2) Regarding your "and?": I asked you about your edit here. There was a "hint", but no explanation. So I asked again. Once again, no explanation. Steve1 (talk) 07:54, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
I asked another user that knows a bit about the game to review our edits. I'm not really here to explain basic game mechanics. Justice (talk) 09:34, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
Uuuuh, back to your usual arrogant unconstructive egocentrical self. How much I have missed that! Steve1 (talk) 09:55, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
Yes and I will continue making boring thankless constructive edits to the wiki. Justice (talk) 20:55, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
Attitudes aside: Death Blossom's actual effect is "swing twice, each that hits does an attack with +X to the target and all other adjacent foes take X damage". It doesn't make actual attacks against the adjacent foes, hence not triggering Vampiric/Zealous mods and can't crit - else the energy gain would be significant for the PvE dagger spammer bars that have been around for ages. Based on that, though I haven't tested it, I wouldn't expect it to trigger Warmonger's either. So I wouldn't expect any synergy other than "you attack twice" like any dagger dual attack or RNG doublestrike. Death Blossom's concise description is IMO pretty poorly worded and could be interpreted as making attacks on adjacent foes. Warmonger's page already links to Attack#Skills_dealing_multiple_attacks, which looks like a pretty complete list at a glance. Loggy (talk) 11:17, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
Hi Loggy, thanks. So are the categories on Death Blossom correct then? Cheers, Steve1 (talk) 15:10, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
Is there something that looks incorrect? Justice (talk) 19:52, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
