Affable, Faux Affable, or both? I feel Tamatoa has some genuine polite features, he refers to Moana as "Sweetheart" when she kept looking at his two eyes. He also Asked Moana and Maui if they liked "The Song" (braking the fourth wall). While being a man eating pyschopath I don't think his politeness is just to trick anyone but he actually means the nice things he says.MisterGroad (talk) 22:03, March 19, 2017 (UTC)

Update: Removed faux affable, he seems like he isn't just faking kindness.

Why is Tamatoa Insecure?[]

So, I am not sure why Tamatoa is categorized as insecure. I don't see his insecurities throughout the entire film because of his selfishness.
