Baron Meinster is the main antagonist of the 1960 Hammer horror film The Brides of Dracula.

He has neither literary nor historical roots and was created for the film by the late screenwriter Jimmy Sangster. In an early draft he was supposed to be a follower of Count Dracula. During script-developement this was dropped however the name of Dracula remained in the film's title for commercial purposes.

The charmingly handsome young Baron is actually a malevolent and sadistic vampire who seduces and preys on beautiful young women and turns them into his vampiric brides, almost kills Dracula's archenemy Dr. Van Helsing and doesn't even shy away from feeding on his own mother's blood.

He was portrayed by the late David Peel.
