Free Halloween letter scenario

Happy Halloween! To celebrate I wanted to give Quill fans a new spooky scenario.

You are Jonathan Harker, a solicitor from London who has recently arrived in Transylvania to act as an estate agent for your new client: Count Dracula. You've been a guest in Dracula's castle for an uneasy several days now and you believe your host may have ulterior motives for keeping you here. You're writing to your love, Mina, explaining that you believe Dracula is not human and should he arrive in England people could be in danger. You are to convince Mina that Dracula is not merely an aristocrat, but a demon from the depths of hell.

Rules of Correspondence: You are writing at your wit's end. Any 1 rolled on a Penmanship test results in a 1 point loss.

Ink Pot:

Covered/Shrouded

Magnificent/ Fearsome

Lodgers/ Brides of Dracula

Climbed/ Crawled

Stuck/ Imprisoned

Sinister/ Demonic

Monster/ Vampire

Bats/ Children of the Night

Hinted/ Warned

Thirst/ Bloodlust

Fewer than 5 points: Of course, Mina would never receive your missive. As all of your previous letters that the Count promised to post you discover a stack of them hidden away in a drawer. As you remove the bundle a shadow appears over you. Slowly, turning your head you see Dracula looming over you, bearing his fangs.

5-7 points: Mina reads your letter, a look of sadness creeping over her face. Her response is much more curt than you anticipated. She wishes you well, but tells you to seek a doctor, for the stress has clearly got to you. She doesn't believe Dracula sounds particularly bad and this just all be in your imagination. Soon Dracula will be landing at Whitby Bay and making his way to London and to Mina.

8-10 points: Your missive has disturbed Mina. Her message is encoded in such a way that Dracula would be unable to decipher her true intent: to contact her friend's colleague Abraham Van Helsing and warn him of the Count's coming.

11+ points: Your missive has disturbed Mina. Her message is encoded in such a way that Dracula would be unable to decipher her true intent: to contact her friend's colleague Abraham Van Helsing and warn him of the Count's coming. Helsing believes it is the utmost importance to destroy Dracula before he comes to England, so he travels out to Transylvania, eventually getting into his castle and slaying Dracula.
