- "A quick, advancing side-flip. You can perform Front Flip from this move."
- —Street Fighter 6
The Side Flip (サイド・フリップ Saido Furippu?) is one of Rashid's unique attacks, introduced in Street Fighter 6.
Name | Classic | Modern |
---|---|---|
Side Flip | + | ++ |
Front Flip | +> or or + | ++> or or ++ |
Description[]
Executed by pressing forward and two kick buttons (or pressing forward, plus Medium and Heavy Attack simultaneously for Modern Control), Rashid performs a cartwheel forward. From there, he can transition into Front Flip by pressing two kicks (Classic) or both the Medium & Heavy Attack (Modern) during Side Flip, where Rashid vaults high over his opponent.
Tactics[]
- "Flip through the air towards the opponent. Jump attacks can be performed while in mid-air."
- —Street Fighter 6
Description[]
Side Flip enhances Rashid's mobility. Performing this move while close to the opponent can cause a side-switch, making it useful for putting the opponent back against the wall. In the corner, the side-switch may be ambiguous depending on the spacing of the cartwheel. In addition to the switching sides, Rashid can also perform a jump with different trajectories, depending on which direction is pressed. Front Flip gives Rashid a way to leap over the opponent and escape pressure. Offensively, he can confuse his opponent with a correctly spaced trajectory, potentially performing a cross-up or staying on the same side.
Trivia[]
- Rashid's Front Flip is also his first V-Skill in Street Fighter V.
