The Dankukyaku (断空脚 Dankūkyaku?, "Severing Air Leg") is one of Dan's special attacks, introduced in the Street Fighter Alpha series.

Dan's counterpart to the Tatsumaki, it is closer in appearance to Ryo Sakazaki's Hien Shippu Kyaku (飛燕疾風脚 Hien Shippū Kyaku?, "Flying Swallow Hurricane Leg") from the Kyokugen Style, also used by Ryo's friend Robert Garcia in some games.
The Dankukyaku has three strength variations, depending on which kick buttons is pressed. The weakest version is a leap and knee jab forward. The knee jab can strike both crouching, standing and aerial foes, which is when it is most damaging. The second is a knee jab and kick, while the third is a knee jab and kick followed up by a second kick that can send opponents to the turf. Its EX version in Street Fighter IV kicks twice and then kicks low (with an airborne-twisting stationary slamming inward-kick), sending the opponent flying to the ground.
In some games, such as Street Fighter Alpha 3, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2, as well as Street Fighter IV, it can also be used while airborne.
