Supreme rank[]
Hmm Viceroy is not a supreme rank. Viceroy imples the existence of a King. How come the TF was ruled by a viceroy and not a King? Anyone can explain this? or i am missing something? MoffRebus 13:48, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Star Wars ranking systems, or more precise, Neimoidian ranking systems, do not have to follow real-world ranking systems. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20:28, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- He's subordinate to the Directorate. So he's not the supreme leader of the Traade Federation. Thus VICEroy, suggesting that the Directorate is collectively the "royalty".--Jerry 21:02, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I've theorized why the position is called Viceroy. It must be similar to the government of the United Kingdom. Their monarch (currently Queen Elizabeth) is a figurehead Head of State. Their true leader is the Prime Minister. It also explains where the [[|Trade monarch|Trade Monarch]] fits in the Trade Federation. Jedi Wolf 6:50, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Jerry: Obviously he's not subordinate to the Directorate if he's a part of it. All evidence points to Viceroy being the leader of the Trade Federation. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 00:23, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- Do you know what "Viceroy" means, Jack? QuentinGeorge 00:23, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- It doesn't apply here, Quentin. Real-world definitions are not always the definitions of IU terms. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 00:26, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

- Jack, he's subordinate to the Directorate the same way a CEO is subordinate to the Board of Directors. The Directorate elects the Viceroy, ergo, they can dismiss him as well. Operationally however, they don't have much power over him.--Jerry 21:25, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
