"He"? Beryl is a woman's name... --McEwok 10:13, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- McEwok has a point. Has this person's gender ever been canonically stated anywhere? The Rebel Alliance Sourcebook doesn't say one way or the other. jSarek 00:17, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- . . . and Alliance Intelligence Reports indicates that Chiffonage is, indeed, a she. jSarek 10:12, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- However, Who's Who in Echo Base identifies Chiffonage as a male, the controller Leia is seen working with at the beginning of ESB when she overhears Solo tell Rieekan that he is leaving. Toprawa and Ralltiir 05:12, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- It's probably a confusion in part of the authors, but it clearly affects the canon. Maybe they are two different characters (It wouldn't be the first time). Else, this info (A.I.R lists Beryl as female, WWIEB lists Beryl as male) could be included in "Behind the Scenes" section.--Skippy Farlstendoiro 11:26, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, it will definitely be discussed in the BTS section. :) I am currently overhauling this article to give it a complete rewrite. Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:40, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- Grr. We had a brilliant female Alliance tactician, and "Who's Who" goes and robs "her" from us. :-( jSarek 09:56, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- Chiffonage's entry from 'Who is Who' is really bad. His picture is that of Romas Navander ...--Sompeetalay 10:04, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- Not true. Watch the film closely and you'll see the Chiffonage actor is a differnet person, with grayish hair. Older than the Navander actor. Toprawa and Ralltiir 00:22, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

- For the record, Assault on Hoth, the character's first source, originally tabs Chiffonage as a he. Blame AIR for the confusion. :P Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:16, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
