- "I love that world and I love the notion of exploring new people and new places in that universe. But that's sort of all that can be said for now."
- ―Kevin Feige on his plans for Star Wars
Kevin Feige is an American film producer best known as the producer of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the highest-grossing film franchise of all time. He has been President of Marvel Studios since 2007.[3]
An avid Star Wars fan since his days at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, while developing the second slate of films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Feige decided to have at least one character lose one of their limbs in each film as an homage to the 1980 film Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.[4]
On September 25, 2019, Feige was announced to be working, along with Lucasfilm Ltd. President Kathleen Kennedy, on an untitled Star Wars film.[1] In 2023, he stated that his film was no longer being worked on.[5]
