Douglas "Doug" Petrie is an American television writer, producer, and director whose credits include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Pushing Daisies, and Tru Calling.

Petrie wrote Star Wars (1998) 27. He also co-wrote the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "Death Trap."
