The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This battle took part of the offensive planned by reborn Emperor Palpatine against the New Republic to reconquer the Core Worlds. Those assaults were executed by the reunified Imperial warlords and loyal Imperial forces prior to the launch of Operation Shadow Hand.

After the conquest of the Northern Dependencies by Grand Moff Ardus Kaine and the conquest of the Core Worlds by Superior General Sander Delvardus, the two fleets reunited to attack Borleias.
