4-LB was a large, square labor droid who ran the Power Station at Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine, where locals came to power their speeders and equipment.[1] It cared little about its customers and their whereabouts and was unenthusiastic about its role.[2]
During the hunt for Adar Tallon on Tatooine, 4-LB was questioned by operatives of the Alliance to Restore the Republic over Tallon's whereabouts on the world. 4-LB gave them information on an individual fitting Tallon's description but confused him with Bels Lank. The conversation was overheard by the assassin droid IG-72. After the Rebels left, IG-72 trashed 4-LB and the Power Station before leaving for Tallon's supposed location.[1]
