The snail monster^[1] is a sea snail who appears in the episode "Food Con Castaways."

Description[]

The snail monster is olive green with an orange shell. When in monster form, the snail monster has wings, large teeth, and scythe-like arms. It also has light yellow and red eyes.

Role in episode[]

The snail monster is first seen when it comes out of a bush in the forest where SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs are camping. SpongeBob thinks it is a regular snail at first until it turns into its monster form, scaring everyone. The snail monster takes the last Krabby Patty and flies off. Mr. Krabs, not wanting to let the Krabby Patty go, tosses Squidward into the Krabby Patty, knocking it away. However, the snail monster ends up biting Squidward instead but spits him out due to his bad taste.

Later, when Squidward attempts to put SpongeBob to sleep with his clarinet, the snail monster grabs Squidward and drops him on his face before leaving again.
