Hatty McDoody is a character who appears in the Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episodes "Hats Off to Space" and "Patrick's Star."

Description[]

Hatty is a light turquoise narwhal with short brown hair. He wears a stained white sleeveless shirt, a brown belt with a silver buckle and jeans with a patch on them. He lives on the Moon and doesn't like visitors but allows his cousins Narlene and Nobby to come over.

"Hats Off to Space"[]

At the start of the episode, the campers' hats are being pulled up into the sky, although they don't know why. SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy go to space, where they run into Narlene. When they tell her why they are there, she gets an idea and brings them to the Moon to meet Hatty. There, it is shown that Hatty is fishing the hats up from Earth with a fishing pole. Although he tries to wear every one he gets, none of them fit, so he hides them away in a silo.

Sandy, unamused, tells Hatty to try opening up his helmet to put the hat on his head directly. Hatty tries it, and this works. He goes off to impress his girlfriend, an alien called a "moon maid." When SpongeBob and Sandy return to camp, they tell Kevin that they met a spaceman with their hats, which he is skeptical of.

"Patrick's Star"[]

He is briefly seen married to the "moon-maid" when Gunther is shot into space.
