Egg Hangar

Egg Hangar (デスエッグ[1] Desu Eggu?, lit. "Death Egg") is a racetrack that appears Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, which is based on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. It takes place onboard the Death Egg and is available as DLC bundled with Metal Sonic. The DLC can only be purchased for the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 versions of the game.

Egg Hangar appears in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing as downloadable content. It has Egg Pawns which serve as obstacles and a giant laser that resembles the one from the Great Egg Robo. Ristar, a popular Sega character, makes a cameo appearance on the track (as seen in the picture on the right).

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed[]

Egg Hangar reappears in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed as a car-only track, as it is a returning track from the prequel. It is the last race of the Classic Cup. Its music is Cosmic Fall from Shadow the Hedgehog.

  • The name is a reference to the Sonic the Fighters bonus stage, Death Egg's Hangar.
  • In Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, Ristar makes a cameo appearance in this course. This cameo is not present in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, likely due to Ristar being the flag bearer.
  • This is the only track to appear as both DLC and as a regular track in the Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing series.
  • This is also the only track that was not reused three times into a completely different track.
  • This is also one of the two tracks that was not reused for Team Sonic Racing, the other being Ocean Ruin.
