INOA

I wanted to follow up regarding my post of INOA. It was deleted again... can you help me out?

Link please? Cheers, Pmlineditor  06:04, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Special:DeletedContributions/Dchidlaw. EhJJTALK 11:29, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I checked those; however, none of them are recent. Pmlineditor  11:30, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps he is referencing User_talk:Dchidlaw? Lauryn (utc) 05:47, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That wasn't deleted. :S Regards, Pmlineditor  05:50, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but I as dicussed previously, I would like to be able to put INOA onto Wikipedia. Can I post what is written in my user-talk to Wikededia?

Any thoughts? I would like to post it

You can surely try. The article looks much better than before. Pmlineditor  07:41, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I will post it.

Okay. Also, please remember to sign your posts with four tildes. (~~~~) Pmlineditor  15:37, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fra Angelico

I observed that you have removed the PVG without any explantion (other than a statement). Politer than the last person who removed it without even an edit summary.

However, it warrants some discussion on the talk page by way of explanation of the action. Given that the article is well-researched, referenced, well-written, well-illustrated and well laid-out.

Amandajm (talk) 22:17, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would hazard a guess that he removed the {{pvgood}} template because it means "proposed very good article" and was added 12 November 2008 and nothing was done about it. Note: it is not one of our VGAs yet. Please familiarise yourself with our current PVGA processes. Cheers. The Rambling Man (talk) 22:42, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What TRM said. If it has a {{pvgood}} tag, it should go to PVGA. Tags from November 2008 don't need to stay if the discussion is over. Pmlineditor  05:43, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stub

Please do not make one sentence stubs, like Córdoba (Spanish province) or Province of A Coruña. If you are trying to fix a link, then research in helpful websites and try to make them at least one paragraph. I'm sorry this sounds a little blunt because I'm your adoptee, but one-sentence-stubs are not helpful for wikipedia. :) Thankyou. Belinda 09:42, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the excellent advice. I happen to be someone who dislikes one sentence stubs; however, I had to create them for a VGA. I intend to expand them soon; after all if Hurricane Vince (2005) does not become a VGA owing to the lack of few articles, it will not be a net positive for the wiki. I should also take this opportunity to point to {{sofixit}}. It's a collaborative encyclopedia where articles are not owned by someone. Please fix things yourself or have some patience before warning people. Pmlineditor  09:48, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, yes, I'm sorry I got impatient. It's just that I despise stubs, but of course, that doesn't mean I own the article or anything! :) As long as you fix them later, it's perfectly fine. Belinda 10:27, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I will. About the own thing; I said that I don't own the article and you could fix it, not the reverse. Pmlineditor  10:29, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I did a mistake when activating the cosmetic changes. I didn't knew the discussion of december on global bot page. I have requested the global lock of my bot until I can change its parameters.

It will not be unlock globally before everything is OK, so you can unlock it locally.

Sorry for that mistake.

Regards

Rename help cont

Do I use Unsurp, Rename request, or something else? Quantum4 Send me a message 12:45, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You use usurp. The page is here. You post the request with Liverpoolfan and confirm the rename with Quantum4. Usually, the rename would be done soon. You need to merge your accounts with Special:MergeAccount then. Pmlineditor  12:48, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your help. I will go ahead. Quantum4 Send me a message 13:17, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, just as a general note. –Juliancolton | Talk 20:43, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks. Quantum4 Send me a message 20:51, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

two unrelated minor things.

Firstly, I don't know much about DYK, was what I did correct? Secondly... out of curiosity, why have you got flood flag on? Thanks, SS(Kay) 09:10, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The DYK thing was correct. I have the flood flag on because I thought I would flood with AWB (typo fixing). While I'm on the bots list, apparently the bot features don't work, so I might as well turn it off. :/ Pmlineditor  09:13, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

Hello, Pmlineditor. Belinda asked me to ask you if you would be so kind as to take the "wikibreak enforcer" out of her monobook? :p Like all of us, she's still hooked, even though she claims she will still continue her wikibreak for some time.
