Carnivore Country
[change | change source]This area takes guests on steep paths along large canyon ridges between six large and small carnivores of the world. Starting at the top of trail are wide open ranges for the most well-known big cats of Africa. As then it goes near a 5 acre tundra habitat home to the largest land predator on the planet with a glimpse of them from underwater in a 100,000 gallon pool. Into the woods lies the most endangered predator on the Savannah, along with other small, playful species all in natural settings.
Small Carnivora Throughout this building contains many small mammals in a rotunda of wall exhibits.
Crocodilia!
[change | change source]The name says it all as this building showcases crocodiles, alligators, and caimans that make up the crocodilian family in indoor and outdoor wetland habitats.
Danger in the Skies
[change | change source]In a large semi-walk-through flight cage soars some of the world's birds of prey. As visitors may observe from ground level, they may be guided by a series of steps and allow them to get eye-to-eye with the birds circle the whole building.
Elephant Plains
[change | change source]As one of the largest elephant exhibits in the world, this area is home to herd containing a family of five elephants. As guests can encircle the pachyderms in their 3 acre field, they may also be viewed in a 50,000 sq. ft. building during the colder months.
Wildlife Line
[change | change source]Along the oldest exhibits at the zoo are large, open paddocks showcasing some of the world's misunderstood animals.
Circle of Life
[change | change source]This circular shaped attraction features three rare families of species. This area educates guests about the differences between species, subspecies, and or part of the same family roup. Ranging from anteaters, to large birds, and to macropods.
Pigs of the Wild
[change | change source]Marvel at some of the world's rarest hogs in large, wide vistas that three species of hogs live in.
