Trader Horn

Trader Horn is a 1931 American romantic adventure movie directed by W. S. Van Dyke and was based on the novel of the same name by Alfred Aloysius Horn. It stars Harry Carey, Edwina Booth, Duncan Renaldo, C. Aubrey Smith and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Booth would sue Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer after she contracted an illness while shooting the movie and it ended her career as an actress. It was nominated for an Academy Award in 1931 and was remade in 1973.
