Gary Peacock (May 12, 1935 – September 4, 2020) was an American jazz double-bassist.[1] He recorded a dozen albums under his own name/[2] He also performed and recorded with major jazz figures such as Albert Ayler, Paul Bley, and Bill Evans.
Peacock died at his home in Olivebridge, New York on September 4, 2020 at the age of 85.[3]
