Boy Asistio

Macario "Boy" Asistio Jr. (April 6, 1936 – February 6, 2017) was a Filipino politician. He served as the Mayor of Caloocan, a city in Metro Manila region of Philippines, from 1980 to 1986.[1] He was reelected for the port in 1988 till 1995. Asistio unsuccessfully ran as mayor in the elections again in 2013 and 2016.[2]

Asistio died on 6 February 2017 at the age of 80 at the Metro Antipolo Hospital and Medical Center in Antipolo, Philippines. He was in coma and admitted to the intensive care unit.[2]
